Abby Festival - 2023

Abby Festival Queen Contest
This year we are having our 8th Annual Queen & Princess Contests.  Starting on Monday, March 20, 2023 our Queen & Princess Contestants will be out selling our 2023 Abby Festival Raffle Tickets.  The contestant who sell the most tickets will be crowned our eighth "Abby Festival Queen"!  The queen will be crowned on Saturday, June 3, 2022 at 7:30 pm downtown Abbotsford on the band stage. Get your tickets to help support your favorite contestant! Come down and cheer them on!

Abby Fall Festival Raffle Tickets
Will be sold for: $5.00 each or 3 for $10.00
Our Queen and Princess Contestants will be selling tickets to earn their crown and tickets will also be available at local businesses. Drawings for winners will be Sunday, June 4, 2022 at 4:00 pm at the Band Stand.
Prizes: 
1st: $500;    2nd: $300;    3rd: $150    4th: $100;
5th: $75       6th: $50;       7th: $25.
Raffle tickets will also be available at the following businesses: Novedades La Chiquita, Abarrotes La China, La Tropicana, Nicolet Bank in Colby, Taqueria El Sol II, Abby County Market and AbbyColby Crossings Chamber Office.
Live Music-Downtown on First Street:
Friday Night- Trigger Trippers (50s, 60s, 70s)- 8 pm thru 12 Midnight.
Saturday Evening- Reencuentro Norteno-7 pm to 9 pm, then Jinetes de el Rancho- 9 pm to Midnight
Sunday Noon- DJ Sonido Bandeolero 1 pm-4-pm
    
5 on 5 Basketball - Northside Apartment Basketball court
Saturday - June 3rd
8:30 am      All Captains meet at basketball court
9:00 am      Tournament begins
Cost           $10.00 per person (5-6 person teams) One member must be referee in at least one of the other game. No refunds for any reason.

Saturday - Registration 8:00 am      Starting Time 8:30 am
Cost -     $10 per person - Youth and Adult Teams No Refunds
                    (for any reason)
There are three age divisions:
1)Young Children- 6-9
2) Older Children= 10-13
3)  Adults- 14 yrs and older
Youth: Metals for all 1st & 2nd Place team members
Adults: Trophies- 1st & 2nd place

Craft Sale - South First Street in Abbotsford
Saturday, June 3: 2-8 pm

Craft vendors will set up outside on First Street. Set-up time is from Saturday: 9-1:30 pm. No early takedowns. All vendors must be set-up for 1:30 pm Saturday.  


Abby Festival Parade
Sunday, June 4 at 1:30 pm,  If you wish to register an entry for the Abby Festival Parade contact either Paula at 715-302-1177 or Maria at 715-503-5051 (she will take calls in Spanish) with any questions or to sign up. Please submit a small paragraph about your float to be announced during the parade. Line up starts at 12:00 pm and parade will start at 1:30 pm, so make sure you are in line. Line up starts on Second Ave West of St. Bernard's Catholic Church. There will be trophies for First, Second, and Third place entries.

Advance & MEGA Wristband sales start on Monday, May 15, 2023 at 9:00 am and end Thursday, June 1, at 5:00 pm
Advance Wristband Cards are available at the Nicolet National Bank - Colby, Abby Bank, Taylor Credit Union,  La Tropicana, Novedades La Chiquita, Abarrotes La China, Taqueria El Sol, Abby County Market, and AbbyColby Chamber Office.

Saturday      Noon - 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Sunday        1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Advance Wristband cards - $25.00 each ($30 each at Carnival) (Good on all Rides - one card per designated time)
